In the last week of March (how was it almost a month ago?!), we traveled to Park City, Utah to get our last bit of winter fun in before spring hit. We had an amazing eating good food, drinking good drinks, and skiing some amazing snow! I found blog posts so helpful when trying to figure out how to plan my weekend and I wanted to give my tips for Park City as well.
Wow – hello, blog! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I’ve been around, lots of freelancing in my creative business (www.sarahaugustinsky.com) and working on lots of fun projects. I’ve felt sad at neglecting this little piece of the internet though and with some exciting trips planned, I’m renewing my commitment to this creative outlet of mine.
Throughout 5 years of dating (side note- how has it been 5 years!?), my boyfriend and I have taken our fair share of trips together. Whether it was a 12 hour flight or a two hour drive, I’ve learned a thing or two about how to stay sane and in love while on the road. Check out my best tips for traveling with your partner below!
Are you ready for 2017? I sure am! I chose to participate in 2017’s One Little Word “– a word to focus on, meditate on, and reflect upon as I go about my daily life.”
My one little word had to be something that encompassed all I wanted to accomplish. I asked myself what my biggest need in my personal growth category was and needed a word that described how I felt like I didn’t finish anything I started. I needed a work that wrapped all my 2017 goals into one word!
This seems absolutely crazy to me… 2016 is almost OVER! This was the first year that I was dedicated to DelighttheDetails for a whole year – and what a year it was. There were so many ups this year and I feel like the downs haven’t really matched it. I’m rounding up some of the best moments of 2016 and sharing them today! Check it out below!
Do you ever have those times when your skin will just not get it together? Don’t you worry; you are definitely not alone. I’m pretty sure we all have those days/weeks/months when it feels like our skin just won’t cooperate. Today I’m sharing my 4 favorite skin savers and secrets for those weeks when your skin just needs a little extra help.
Denver’s RiNo district is home to cool coffee shops, industrial storefronts, and yummy eats. But one of the coolest things that this neighborhood boasts is The Crush, a week long event of celebration of Denver street art and community engagement. We stumbled upon it while in Denver a couple weeks ago and had so much fun wandering around and taking pictures of everything we saw. Check it out below!
Fall is my fave. Just going to get this out there. I love the weather cooling down, I love the crisp air, I love back-to-school festivities, and I love that I have an excuse to start buying new scarves. One of very favorite things about fall is curling up on the couch with a cup of tea and a good book while it pours outside. If you’re looking for some book recommendations to get you into the autumnal mood, look no further!
Yup – gonna be totally honest here. I’ve had a creative slump. There’s nothing worse than feeling like you’re unmotivated to do what you love most. For me – those things are blogging and travel! A trip was suddenly here and there was the potential for so many posts and I just wasn’t feeling creative. So we walked around Eben G Fine Park in Boulder and got outside of my head-space a bit.
It’s no secret that I’m a teensy bit planner obsessed. I’ve been “decorating” my planners for about a year now, starting with my Day Designer by Whitney English. When I graduated from college (more on that here), I knew that I wasn’t going to need the daily layout of the Day Designer anymore. I had been looking forward to switching to an Erin Condren for a while, and I’m finally sharing my opinions today! So here it is: my Erin Condren Life Planner Review and Usage!
With fall coming and the influx of autumnal decorations, I wanted something to add a little bit of autumn flair. To me, nothing says fall like wooly mittens and pumpkin orange! I have absolutely loved finding new and interesting (and thrifty) pieces to spice up my space. This easy peasy DIY Yarn Hanging took about an hour to make and only cost $8.50 – yes, you read that right!
