One Little Word

Are you ready for 2017? I sure am! I chose to participate in 2017’s One Little Word “– a word to focus on, meditate on, and reflect upon as I go about my daily life.”

My one little word had to be something that encompassed all I wanted to accomplish. I asked myself what my biggest need in my personal growth category was and needed a word that described how I felt like I didn’t finish anything I started. I needed a work that wrapped all my 2017 goals into one word!

Denver’s RiNo district is home to cool coffee shops, industrial storefronts, and yummy eats. But one of the coolest things that this neighborhood boasts is The Crush, a week long event of celebration of Denver street art and community engagement. We stumbled upon it while in Denver a couple weeks ago and had so much fun wandering around and taking pictures of everything we saw. Check it out below!

Fall is my fave. Just going to get this out there. I love the weather cooling down, I love the crisp air, I love back-to-school festivities, and I love that I have an excuse to start buying new scarves. One of very favorite things about fall is curling up on the couch with a cup of tea and a good book while it pours outside. If you’re looking for some book recommendations to get you into the autumnal mood, look no further!

Yup – gonna be totally honest here. I’ve had a creative slump. There’s nothing worse than feeling like you’re unmotivated to do what you love most. For me – those things are blogging and travel! A trip was suddenly here and there was the potential for so many posts and I just wasn’t feeling creative. So we walked around Eben G Fine Park in Boulder and got outside of my head-space a bit.

Erin Condren Life Planner Review

It’s no secret that I’m a teensy bit planner obsessed. I’ve been “decorating” my planners for about a year now, starting with my Day Designer by Whitney English. When I graduated from college (more on that here), I knew that I wasn’t going to need the daily layout of the Day Designer anymore. I had been looking forward to switching to an Erin Condren for a while, and I’m finally sharing my opinions today! So here it is: my Erin Condren Life Planner Review and Usage!

One of my favorite things about California Central Coast is the fact that everything GROWS there! Whether you’re looking for fruits, veggies, sunflowers, grapes (or wine), you’ll find it here. We took advantage of it fully this weekend and hopped over to Avila Valley Barn for a fun little day.

god's purpose

There are two mutual seasons that tend to occur in our lives: bountiful harvest and intense doubt. I’m sure everyone has been in these times. Everything is going good, but it seems to good to be true and you feel overtaken by lack of confidence. God’s purpose for you seems clouded in mess of uncertainty.

Maybe you worked and worked to get a new position at work, but thoughts of “do I really deserve this? Am I going to mess it up?” creeps into your mind. Perhaps you labored over your school work but wonder whether you worked hard enough. You planned an event but feel like canceling because you’re too nervous. Maybe you’re like me and you graduated early but now find yourself at a loss of what to do, fearing failure around every corner.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” – 1 Peter 4:10

outside lands (35 of 41)

This post is mainly going to be a hodgepodge Outside Lands Photography Diary. The second two days (fueled by a cold) were a blur of great music, cool outfits, and sunshine mixed with fog. Also – Delight the Details has a new look? What do you think?! I love how a little revamp always makes me motivated. Anyways – back to the Outside Lands pictures!
